STEEL PIPE FITTINGS:

Investment Casting Fittings Manufacturers

What are Investment Casting, Die Casting, and other Pipe Fittings: In this article, we are going to discuss only steel pipe fittings and not plastic pipe or fittings. So, pipe fittings are used to connect the metal pipes together to form a piping system to flow any kind of liquid from one place to another. Fittings connect to pipes in two ways one is threaded fittings and another is welded fittings. As the names indicate, threaded fittings screw together to connect, while buttweld and socket weld fittings have weld with pipes to connect.

While manufacturing pipe fittings different materials and grades are used to make it as per the requirements (Applications). We are one of the oldest manufacturers of Pipes fittings and flanges using materials like Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Monel Steel, Hastelloy Steel, Nickel Steel, Inconel Steel, Incoloy Steel, Copper Steel, Titanium Steel, Duplex & Super Duplex Steel, Aluminium Steel, Brass Steel, etc. in Mumbai, India.

DIE CASTING PIPE FITTING:

Die casting uses pre-made tool steel dies in the shape of the desired components such as elbows, tees, cross, Coupling, Hex bushing, and Union. Molten stainless steel material is forced into a die at high pressures and leaves it to cool. Once it is solidified, the cast piece is ejected from the die using ejector pins.

INVESTMENT CASTING PIPE FITTING:

Investment Casting Pipe Fitting Components are engineered to let you fit or connect varied pipes together with utmost precision in order to ensure smooth flow of water, oil & gas in varied applications. One can reach us to purchase the Investment Casting Pipe Fitting Tee, Elbow, Plug and Cap, Reducer, Nipple, Unions, Cross, Flange, Valves in the stainless steel 304 and 316 material in the desired dimensions and finishes at compromising prices.

Stainless Steel fittings could be produced in both casting and forging methods. Considering the high tooling cost of forging, to be more cost-effective, casting is preferred when the quantity is small. It could be used to produce different types of pipe fittings in small runs.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN INVESTMENT CASTING & DIE CASTING:

  1. Die casting uses reusable molds, while investment casting employs disposable molds for each new casting.
  2. Die casting is only suitable for non-ferrous casting metals, while investment casting accommodates both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
