This Inconel UNS N06625 Socket Weld Fittings in a pipe system allows for quick separation of the specific section concerned. Meanwhile, the outside of this alloy features a phonographic notched gasket surface, which prevents joint leaking. As a result of employing this alloy, a portion of the line may be opened for cleaning. We provide this product in a wide range of sizes, making it suitable for interlocking plumbing systems that are restricted in space.

Ample Alloys is a known trader and exporter of Inconel Alloy 625 Socket Weld Fittings, which are arranged in pairs and bonded in the presence of two alloys. It improves weldability while also reducing the possibility of poor oxidization resistance surrounding welded regions. It differs in that it has reduced carbon content, as well as a somewhat lower yield and tensile strength. Superior pitting resistance, high oxidation resistance, and superior corrosion resistance are all important qualities of this alloy. They are mostly used as a stopper at the end of a pipe.

Inconel 625 Socket Weld Fittings Applications

Alloy 625 forged Socket Welding (SW) fittings are mainly used to permanently join pipes that are inserted into a recess in the fitting, flange, or valve. Once correctly inserted, fillet-type sealing welds are applied to join the pipe to the fitting. It is commonly known as SW pipe fittings, with SW elbows, SW couplings, and SW tees being examples of different types. Grade 625 Socket weld fittings have high leakage integrity and structural strength and can be used to change the direction of travel for pipe networks as well as join pipes at different angles and of different diameters.

Inconel 625 is a high-performance nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy known for its high level of strength, corrosion resistance, and temperature resistance. This superalloy is composed mainly of nickel (58% min.) followed by chromium, niobium, molybdenum, tantalum, cobalt, iron, and trace amounts of manganese, aluminium, silicon, and titanium. Inconel 625 also commonly goes by the names: Altemp 625, Haynes 625, Nicrofer 6020, and Nickelvac 625.
